Oh Happy Day

I just loved this picture of my daughter. She looks filled with happiness, joy and freedom.


The skirt is the wool skirt pattern from Ottobre Issue 4/2004.
I added some cute pink eyelet trim from a local crafting thrift store. Sage green velour and yet another embroidery from www.bunnycup.com



I really should have first stabilized the velour and then used a layer to cut away, or at the very least used two layers of cut away. The design ripples because I didn't... Can't seam rip that mistake. Luckily this is just a play skirt.


She was having a wonderful day washing her big brother's car "all by herself!" It was a soapy, sudsy, watery day. How lucky are we that we can wash cars in the warm sun in November :) It was -6 degrees in the Arctic Circle where the Ottobre Magazines come from! brrr.
