YOUCANMAKETHIS.COM ANNOUNCES ‘THINK SPRING’ CHALLENGE
Salt Lake City, UT—March 7, 2007—YouCanMakeThis.com, the website featuring over
200 doityourself eBooks on everything from clothing to home décor, announces their
“Think Spring” challenge. And just what kind of challenge helps you “think spring?” Try
combining the talents of YCMT’s authordesigners with gorgeous fabrics from a select
handful of fabric sites and giving them a limited amount of time to show off their eBook
creations.
YCMT gave each author one month to select a fabric line from four fabric sites:
FabricHound.com, FashionableFabrics.com, SewzannesFabrics.com, and
YummyFabrics.com. The author would then use the chosen fabrics to create a design
from her own eBook. These designs need to not only showcase the author’s talent but
also the fabric chosen. Of course, since no outfit is complete without matching
accessories, YCMT extended the challenge to authors with eBooks on jewelry, handbags,
hair bows, and even home décor. Starting March 7 th visitors can view the authors’
beautiful creations on the YouCanMakeThis.com website.
And because YouCanMakeThis.com is all about spreading inspiration, YCMT has
extended the “Think Spring” challenge to you. Those interested in participating have one
month to create their own designs using YCMT eBooks and any of the fabrics found on
the four fabric sites. Coordinating jewelry, bows, and home décor are also encouraged.
Simply take a photo of your creation, send it to thinkspring@youcanmakethis.com, and
you’ll then be entered to win fabulous prizes. A drawing will take place from all entries
sent in. Prizes include gift certificates from sites like YouCanMakeThis.com and all 4
fabric websites, along with giveaways from sponsors like Journal Modiste and Boutique
Café. The deadline for sending in your photos is Saturday, April 7 th , 2007.
Because we live in a doityourself
world, YouCanMakeThis.com has become the beall,
endall
site for those interested in the sense of satisfaction that comes from designing
boutique items without the boutique cost. Ready to get designing? Check out
