Nancy is an independent pattern designer and WAHM with two children, based in Southern California.
Nancy holds the distribution rights for US distribution of Farbenmix Patterns & Sabine of Farbenmix holds the distribution rights for Studio Tantrum in Europe.
All their patterns are drafted and graded by hand, making for the best fit, form and fall,
"...The design elements of Farbenmix, say a pocket here or a ruffle there, are all secondary. Farbenmix is a better product because of a tiny tapering here and a slight curve there. It's not something that shows up on the package, but it is the reason that hundreds of independent home-based seamstresses in Europe--seamstresses who have all the European patterns at their disposal--reach, when their livelihood depends on it, overwhelmingly for Farbenmix."

Sabine Pollehn of Farbenmix runs her design studio and business together with her eldest daughter, Janina, from their home in Wilhemshaven, Germany. Sabine and her husband have five children.
Farbenmix and studioTANTRUM have gained attention at an important fabric event in the Netherlands, home to the most innovative children's clothing and sewing pattern companies.
