Twill:
Twill is a basic fabric weave where the filling yarn that runs the width of the fabric goes over and under two or more warp yarns that runs the length of the fabric. This creates a diagonal pattern. Twill fabric can also have a herringbone pattern. Any fiber can be used for a twill weave. A twill weave is soft and durable.
Denim:
Denim is a particularly common twill weave.
